Sahara Airlines is an airline based in Delhi and has a very impressionable network in the country. Sahara Airlines is now known as JetLite after the takeover by the Jet Airways. The present owner is Naresh Goyal and the founder of the airlines was Subrata Roy. Sahara Airlines was founded in 1991 and has been giving service since. This one of the airlines in Mumbai which connects the city to other cities. Mumbai is one of the busiest cities as it sees hundreds of travelers coming to Mumbai for many purpose. After being converted into JetLite, there have been further changes in the functioning of the airline for good. The logo has been changed and the entire crew and aircrafts has been given a major over-hauling.
The fleet of Sahara Airlines are Boeing 737 and the number is being continuously increased due to the expansion plans. The helicopters are Ecureuil and Dauphin series. There are 147 direct flights that links 34 Indian cities. The tickets for Sahara Airlines can be booked at the travel agents or the airlines offices in the cities. There are special privileges for regular passengers and the rewards are added to ones account every time the services are availed.
